My name is Seth Breunig, and I'm very excited to be taking on the high school and young adult ministry position at Immaculate Conception and St. Frances Cabrini. For the last 13 years, I have been blessed to teach religion, social studies, and math at Holy Angels. I have also been fortunate enough to coach many of our parishes' young men and women in our Park and Rec tennis programs and on the East tennis team, in addition to teaching religious-ed at St. Mary's and Holy Angels at different points. I met my wife, Geralyn, at the UW Oshkosh Newman Center 20 years ago, and we have been married for the last 14 years. We have seven children, ages 1 to 13, and typically cause most of our disruptions at the 8am Sunday Mass. My wife and I had decided to reorganize our work-life balance this winter/spring. This position was not part of our plan, but the flexibility, fit, and purpose feel perfect, especially with the Breunig kids getting close to high school themselves!Personally, I'm a huge fan of all sports, though skilled only in tennis. I love to read, pretend to garden, and am devoted to picking up sticks in my yard. My favorite saint is Maximillian Kolbe. I still look up to the people who have mentored me in the faith and am very excited for this opportunity to help our young people learn to love Christ and His Church.
