Josué Diaz was in the Sponsorship program for two years from 2014 - 15 but didn’t graduate. His sponsors were Mae Dricken and Patricia Geidel. He was homeless living at the local Red Cross when the son of one of our Taulabé group members (Irma) invited him to come live with them in their house. He went to school, did jobs for Irma to pay his rent but couldn’t focus on studying so he dropped out. Once he became focused again he went on to chef school and now owns a restaurant in Taulabé. We are so very proud of this young man. While we were in Taulabé we hired him to prepare a few meals that we hosted for the group members. Truly this young man is a success story and he LOVES what he is doing!
