I consider myself a “Barton Girl” as I was born and raised here and attended St. Mary’s Grade School. Actually, I have a connection with all three parishes as my three daughters graduated from Saint Frances Cabrini and two of my five grandchildren attend Holy Angels School. God has led me down paths I never thought of going but He knows best. I am retired from Washington County after serving 30 years in the court system with 15 of those years as the elected Clerk of Courts. I have served on the City of West Bend Common Council and was West Bend’s first woman Mayor and held office from 2007-2011. I presently hold the position of County Board Supervisor for District 1 and am in my 3rd term. This past spring I was elected as 2nd Vice Chair of the County Board. Another first for a woman! It’s a bit obvious that I am a “politician” and that’s the path I never saw! He has also led me on the path to being a member of our Parish Council and I am grateful for the opportunity to serve. He knows best where my talents lie, and I will continue to follow where He leads.
